Its
hard to believe right now, but spring is
on the way. At some point we will quit having snow and cold and the
flowers will bloom. Spring means it is time to make sure your certificate
is in order for the coming school year. Its a good idea to try
to get this covered prior to your summer vacation. Registration forms
have been mailed to all the public schools in Sangamon County. If your
standard certificate is due, you may renew now. The advantage of renewing
early is that any professional development
you do after April 1st may roll over to the next renewal in 2015. For
example, if you are in a spring course and it ends in May OR you have
a student teacher in the spring, you will be able to ROLL OVER CPDUs
for the next cycleONLY if you complete the renewal process including
paying your $25.00 early.(Click
