Introduction to Evaluation of Certified Staff (AAC#1) Every administrator who is listed as "Evaluator" in the district's plan MUST attend this core evaluation training session before evaluating staff. Participants will gain knowledge and practice skills to improve their ability to supervise and evaluate teachers effectively. The Annual Life Safety Walk-Through Inspection Process and Inspector Training (AAC # 504) The participant will understand the tasks necessary to complete an annual life-safety walk-through inspection of public school buildings and will be able to complete the relevant reports accurately and within the prescribed time frame. The new "Inspection Checklist and Glossary" will be introduced and explained. In addition, participants will be able to access the applicable codes to understand and explain citations of non-compliance. A major component is a sample Walk-Through Inspection in the afternoon. hazardous chemicals used in science classes, procedures for safely using and storing hazardous materials, and microscale chemistry. A school will qualify for a FREE chemical pick-up by Illinois EPA by sending a teacher to this workshop.
