Student Assistance Program Training - 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the CACC, 2201 Toronto Rd, Springfield, IL 62712.

Information flyer

Who: To be successful, each team should include a building administrator, counselor, two or more teachers, school nurse, psychologist, drug/alcohol and /or mental health provider.

Costs: The Illinois Masonic Foundation pays all costs of the training sessions including breakfast, lunch, and snacks for all three days.

Registration: Registration form- fill this out and send to Sue Rentsch, MSAP Program Director at 41 Bonniebrook Rd. , Chatham, Il  62629. Contact information:  suernr41@insightbb.com  or 1-888-503-1110. 

Trainers: Newman/Stecher International, an organization dedicated to providing training and technical assistance to school districts, state departments and business will present the MSAP training.

Other: Twenty-one CPDU's are available at no cost for each participant who completes the training.

Classroom Instruction That Works The Leadership Perspective (AAC #122) This Administrator's Academy course draws upon the work of Marzano, Pickering, and Pollack in presenting research-based strategies for increasing student achievement, with emphasis and focus on the role of the leader. 8:30 am-3:30 pm; ROE Staff Development Center, 2201 Toronto Rd., Springfield, IL.  Presenter: Don Kachur $125 in county: $140 out of county.
